|

Hello,
My son is interested in getting started and entering some local Vancouver games. I have a couple of questions if someone can help please.
first, how must does it cost to get set up with the equipment, gun etc?
What type of face wear is used and how safe is it?
My son has had eye surgury and still has stitches in his eye. Would he be allowed to play? Would it be safe for him to play? He will have the stitches for a couple more years and in the mean time he will be having another operation....
Where can someone get the equipment? Thank you for your help! |

Just so as you know un till he is 18 you will be required to come to the field and sign a waiver for him. As far as costs go, this link will give you an idea of pricinghttp://www.sirairsoft.com/pricelist.htm. Not everything on the list is required but approved eyewear is a must. Most everything can be purchased used from our buy and sell or the one on Airsoft Canada's website. You will need to be age verified in person to get access.
Feel free to PM me if you need further info or require verification.

I was just reading your suggested pricing information and caught something that raised a flag for me...
It advises an AEG (no upgrades) at almost five hundred dollars. Is that right? Because I've been doing a lot of research on entry level AEG's and the ECHO 1 G36C V.3 seems a good bet and clocks in at a lot lower price tag then the suggestion suggests which makes me wonder; is the G36C really as good as all the reviews say? |

well ive never used an echo gun but like everything, you get what you paid for. if you get a gun that cost a bit more money like a tokyo marui, you definately get some better quality. but its up to you how much you want to spend _________________ BCAC

also remember when that price list was written there werent the amount of much cheaper 'knock offs' as there are now.
As it has been mentioned, you can buy much cheaper, but the old addage applies "you get what you pay for".
Now that the SIR site is fully up and running again on a permanent basis, if the pricelist section needs to be updated let me know, otherwise the info on there still holds pretty true for todays market.
cheers!! |
